BJP workers, elated after the success of yesterday’s Vikas Rally, have decided to move on to the next phase of  campaigning to carry forward the momentum generated by the rally.
In a statement issued after the rally, Delhi BJP president, Mr Vijay Goel, said the poll campaign would now move on to the ‘assembly segment level’.
He said, "The BJP has identified five key issues to focus in the days to come which include power, water, inflation, corruption and women&’s safety.”
Mr Goel said the BJP cadres will hold meetings in every assembly segment over the next few days and take these issues to the common people.
“The Congress is in a state of panic following the success of the Vikas Rally. The party is scared as the writing on the wall is clear that all sections of society have joined hands together to root out the corrupt Congress party whose policies are anti-people.”
He expressed happiness that a large number of people from the Muslim community, youth and weaker sections participated in the rally.
Mr Goel slammed the Congress for putting up hoardings and posters a night before the Vikas rally which, he said, were in bad taste.
“In its desperation to cling to the power, Congress has resorted to cheap tactics. This is deplorable. The Congress is using its dirty tricks department and is stooping down to new lows,” he said.
