‘Centre trying to fail odd-even scheme’

Taking a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Delhi transport minister, Gopal Rai, on Thursday said that the central government is making every effort to fail the odd-even scheme set to roll out from Friday and therefore all the officers went on leave together for the first time.

"But we should work together and not take out our cars on wrong dates. Odd numbered cars on odd dates and even ones on the even dates and our whole plan will be a success," said Rai.

Addressing a press conference on the last minute preparation for the trial, which is all set to begin from Friday for a fortnight, Rai said, for car pooling another feature has been added from today in the ‘PoochO App’.
