Method:

Mix all the ingredients of the dough.

Add enough water slowly to make a tight but smooth dough.

Cover the dough and give a rest of half an hour.

Heat one tbsp. of oil in a pan. Add garlic and saute.

Add green chillies and onion. Cook till tender.

Put rest of the veggies along with salt, pepper and soya sauce.

Saute for five minutes. Add peanuts, vinegar and coriander leaves.

Mix well and turn off gas. Keep aside to cool.

Make small balls from the dough and roll in round shape like a chapatti as thin as possible.

Place the filling in the centre and apply water on the circumference.

Close it giving the shape of a bag knotted from the top.

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.

Fry the pouch till golden. Drain on kitchen towel.

Serve hot and crisp with tomato ketchup and garlic mayonnaise. The aroma of freshly cooked Thai money bags drifting straight from your kitchen will drive you crazy. If you are health conscious, steam the bags instead of frying.
