England call up three uncapped players in Test squad for Bangladesh tour

England have included three uncapped cricketers — Ben Duckett, Haseeb Hameed and Zafar Ansari — in their 17-man squad for the Test series against Bangladesh in a bid to give the untested ones a run-in in the away series.

The England selectors also named a 15-man squad for the One-Day series next month.

Opener Hameed, 19, is expected to replace Alex Hales as captain Alastair Cook’s opening partner for the two-Test series which begins on October 20.
