Liverpool win 3-1 to extend Chelsea”s misery

Two goals from forward Philippe Coutinho and a Christian Benteke strike allowed Liverpool to come from behind to beat champions Chelsea 3-1 away at Stamford Bridge ground in an English Premier League (EPL) match.

It marked coach Jurgen Klopp&’s first league win since taking over as manager of Liverpool and made it six defeats in the tournament for Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho this season.

A Ramires header gave Chelsea the lead after four minutes, but Coutinho fired Liverpool to level in style just before half-time.

Liverpool took the lead from another Coutinho effort, clipping past defender John Terry and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Benteke made sure of the points with a composed finish in the closing minutes.
