‘No need for Saina Nehwal to stay away from PBL’
PBL will not affect the training session of Saina because there are as many as 16 international events, which will keep her fit.
Following the defeat of PV Sindhu, Indian male shuttler Sameer Verma lost to Ng Ka Long Angus in the Hong Kong Open final later on Sunday.
Verma, who defeated Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark in the semi-final match, was beaten by the Hong Kong player 14-21, 10-21, 11-21 and had to settle for a silver medal.
Earlier, Indian star shuttler Sindhu lost to Tai Tzu-Ying of Chinese Taipei 15-21, 17-21 in a 41-minute long stretched encounter.
