Continuing Monday&’s gains, markets started the Tuesday trading session with small to medium advances following positive global markets.
At 9:25 am, Sensex was trading higher by 117 points at 26,902, while Nifty was trading up by 26 points at 8145.
Broader markets are also trading on the same line with BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices up 0.4 per cent and 0.6 per cent respectively.

Indian Cements Ltd has become the lead gainer in the Sensex pack with a jump of 2.8 per cent, while, on the losing side, Persistent Systems Ltd has become the top loser with a cut of 1.2 per cent.
