AAP mourns demise of 6 people including 4 farmers in Punjab

The  Aam Aadmi Party on Monday expressed grief over the death of six people in a day in the state. Four of them committed suicide, according to sources.

AAP Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich said that SAD and Congress looted the state in last two decades. Both the parties have done nothing to uplift the peasantry in the state, according to a statement.

Waraich said that 3 out of 4 farmers took the extreme step because of debt and 4th has committed suicide as the company in which he had invested money refused to refund his finances.

The AAP leaders criticized Badals for running away from their poll promise to wave off the debt of farmers. He said that Akali Dal is the alliance partner in centre government and can ask Modi to help the farmers of Punjab. Waraich said that if centre government refuses to accept the demand of debt waver then Harsimrat Badal has no right to stay in the union cabinet. Waraich also took notice of suicide of Cancer patient in Sangrur. He said that the apathy of state government is pushing the people of state to take extreme steps. The state government has done nothing to strengthen the health system in state.
