Cold in Delhi, temperature dips to 15.3 deg C

The wintry feeling due to the dip in temperature prevailed in the national capital as people pulled out their light woollens during the morning.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average while the minimum temperature dipped to settle at 15.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal.

The humidity in air oscillated between 85 and 49 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies for Friday.

"The skies will be partly cloudy. There will be mist in the morning. The maximum and the minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 29 and 16 degrees Celsius, respectively," said the weatherman.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal while the minimum had dived to settle at 17.5 degrees Celsius, making a cold day in the city.
