A security guard at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital has been arrested for allegedly molesting the 29-year-old wife of a patient.
He has been identified as Amod Kumar Choudhary. According to police, the incident occurred when the woman went to a washroom at 9.40 p m on Wednesday.
When she raised an alarm, the staff rushed to the spot and informed police.

The victim is still in a shock. "It will taint my image. Some of my family members are here.My husband is critical and he is unaware of the incident," said the victim.
The victim claimed that the accused went inside the washroom and locked it.
"I struggled to free myself from him. He was drunk and fell on the ground after struggling. I have never thought I will experience anything like this. I have two young children back in my village," she added.
The woman’s husband (35), was referred here from a hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district. He had sustained serious injuries in a scuffle with a relative. He was admitted to the neurosurgery ward on October 24.
The patient is currently on ventilator support.
He underwent a surgery on Saturday and is still critical, sources said.
According to preliminary reports, Amod was in an inebriated state. The security agency has been intimated and the accused was handed over to the police.
Even though the hospital premises are under CCTV surveillance, washrooms are not covered.
"To improve the security, we will put more women guards in the toilets," said a hospital administrative official.
