Kejriwal ‘scripted’ Khan’s resignation, says BJP

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strategically "scripted" resignation drama of AAP legislator Amanatullah Khan as the latter is likely to face arrest for his misdeeds as Delhi Waqf Board Chairman, alleged BJP.

Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay hinted that Khan would be arrested soon after the completion of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) probe into the corruption in the Delhi Waqf Board (DWB).

He reacted sharply on Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s press conference in which he hit out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all the mess in his party.

Upadhyay said "People of Delhi very well know that next stale scene of Kejriwal’s scripted routine story will be abusive Press Conference towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Police.

Upadhyay stated that the haste with which Khan addressed the resignation offer to CM Kejriwal yesterday evening appears to have been motivated. If Amanatullah Khan really wanted to quit the chairmanship of Delhi Waqf Board, he should have submitted his resignation to the appointee authority, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, demanded Upadhyay.

He also demanded Kejriwal should come forward and tell the people of Delhi about allegations of corruption referred to by MLA Khan in his resignation offer letter along with the allegations of both financial & moral corruption in AAP raised by MLA Col Devendra Sehrawat and Pankaj Pushkar.
