Intensifying their protests against Prime Minister Narendra
Modi’s demonetisation initiative, activists of West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool
Congress held protest rallies across the state on Thursday.
In Kolkata, slogan shouting Trinamool activits marched from
Gol Park to Hazra crossing in the southern part of the city.
Senior leaders including Urban Development Minister Firhad
Hakim, Power Minister Sovandeb Chatterjee and city Mayor Sovan Chatterjee
participated in the march.

Similar rallies were brought out in each of the districts,
where ministers and senior leaders took part.
On Friday, the Trinamool would hold rallies in every block
of the state.
The party is also slated to bring out a rally here on
November 28.
