The story of an author&’s struggle between what he wants to write and what others might want to read is all set to woo the movie buffs. What sets ‘Mor Mann Ke Bharam’ apart is that it is made in Chhattisgarhi language and it will make its world premiere at the 17th edition of the prestigious Mumbai Film Festival.

Karma Takapa, Heer Ganjwala and Abhishek Varma teamed up to co-direct this film, which has been chosen among more than 200 other films. Their debut movie features on the list of 14 films competing for the ‘Gateway of India’ award at the festival.

This film is a unique collaboration between different artists from different fields from Chhattisgarh and other parts of the country.

Another highlight of the film is the presence of four different folk songs from Chhattisgarh in their original form. The narrative also uses local motifs embedded in Chhattisgarhi culture that have not found space on the big screen till date.

The film, produced by HumanTrail Pictures and Viren Jain (Anand BEC Fertilizers, Bhilai) in association with IPTA Raigarh, will release statewide in the near future.
