Deepika Padukone reads life account of ‘Padmavati’

Indian actress Deepika Padukone has always been an avid reader, especially when it comes to biographies. This time, she has picked queen Padmavati, who she would be portraying in her next film Padmavati.
The character of Padmavati comes from the Rajputana era of the ancient India, which was scripted in a poem written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540. Although there isn’t any historical evidence of her existence, there are many books based on her life.
Padmavati – Ek Kahani Ek Haseen Ki revolves around queen’s heroism, love and passion and depicts how the Rajputs lived their social life.
It isn’t a hidden fact that Deepika works hard to get best out of her acting skills. She wasn’t recommended to read books based on the life of Padmavati, but she started it herself to get familiar with the character.
It has been reported that Deepika is always engrossed reading whenever someone visits her at her home or on the sets. The subject itself is an interesting one and thus, the fans are keen to see the dynamic actress in the role of Padmavati.
The movie, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is scheduled to be release in November 2017.
