I was hurt but now I am back: Rita Ora

Singer Rita Ora finally opened up about the effect her personal life had on her upcoming album, as she prepares to launch it later this year.

The 24-year-old ‘X Factor’ judge said she was hurt and put everything on hold, reported Digital Spy.

"This whole impression that my album hasn’t been an easy process is really bollocks. It is not that it hasn’t been, it’s that I’ve put personal issues first because I’m a girl. I was distracted and got carried away and it didn’t really work out. I was affected by it so I just put everything on hold because I was a sulky 24-year-old and I was hurt. And now I’m back," Ora said.

The singer also explained her definition of being a feminist and why it’s not something people should be afraid of.

"The reason why I say yes to identifying myself as a feminist is because the word ‘feminist’, people get scared of.

That’s not exactly the scariest part of being a feminist. The word sounds scary but all it is is being supportive of someone of the same sex," she said.
