British actor Eddie Redmayne says he finds his role as a father amazing and wonderful.
The 34-year-old Oscar-winning actor, who is currently in Rio de Janeiro with his wife Hannah and their little girl to watch the Olympic Games, said the feeling of becoming a father is extraordinary, reported Hello! magazine.
"Well, it’s only seven weeks in, but it’s amazing. It’s wonderful. All of the stuff you’ve heard for years, it’s all true but utterly extraordinary," Redmayne said.

"We were given the opportunity of coming to Rio; I’ve never been to South America. The notion of coming to Brazil and Rio was extraordinary. And the idea of bringing Iris on her first trip abroad to the Olympics in Brazil was too much of an extraordinary opportunity to turn down," he added.
The Danish Girl star also revealed that he and Hannah have taken the chance to explore the city together.
"We went up to the Christ the Redeemer and had a look over the city at night which was, for both my wife and I, unlike anything we’d ever seen," he said.
