‘Dhaakad’ from ‘Dangal’ out to rule music charts

After surprising music listeners with its first track Hanikarak Bapu, Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal released its second song ‘Dhaakad’ on Wednesday.
Haanikaarak Bapu received a great response from fans across all social media platforms. Now, with Dhaakad, its makers look to pocket another success with a song based on the idea of women empowerment.
The word, dhaakad, means powerful and is being dedicated to the daughters of India, who always prove their potential whenever the nation asks for it.
Composed by Pritam and sung by Indian rapper Raftaar, Dhaakad is expected to rule the top charts within a week or so. In the song, lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya has tried to express the backbreaking yet rewarding journey of wrestlers, Geeta and Babita Phogat.
Haanikarak Bapu, which was released on Children’s Day, was a amusing toast to relentless Indian fathers. Conversely, Dhaakad speaks the message of women potential, loud and clear.
The movie, which is to be released on 23rd December 2016, is the most awaited film of the year as its protagonist Aamir was last seen on the big screen in the 2014 film PK.
