Music composer and singer Salim Merchant will be joining the panel of coaches on The Voice India Season 2.
The previous season saw singers Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh and Himesh Reshammiya come together for the show. Other names are yet to announced for the upcoming edition of the show.
“I’m delighted to be a coach on ‘The Voice India Season 2’. It’s a show that truly captures singing talents in the most pure yet unique way,” Merchant said in a statement.
He added: “My favourite part of the show is the blind audition- where the coaches react after they listen to the voice without seeing the singer. It will be exciting for us coaches and the audience to see how the singers choose their respective coaches and how the teams get formed to get ready for the battle.”
The show will air on &TV in December.
