Himachal CM dedicates development projects worth Rs.27 crore in Kinnaur

 

Bringing hopes to the tribal people in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Thursday dedicated various development projects worth Rs.27 crore in Kinnaur district.

Singh, on the first day of his visit to the tribal district, dedicated two Bailey bridges constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.13 crore near Urni Dhank over River Sutlej.

The CM also inaugurated the newly constructed building of Govt. Senior Secondary School in Urni and the newly constructed Bus Stand at Sangla, constructed at the cost of Rs.3.22 crore  and Rs.1.24 crore respectively.

A Primary Health Centre building at Nigulsari was also inaugurated on Thursday.

Later in the day, Singh laid the foundation stones of the upgradation of Water Supply Scheme for Tapri and Kharogala-Kuppa Flow Irrigation Scheme at Kuppa.

While the upgradation of Water Supply Scheme for Tapri at the cost Rs.74 lakh will benefit about 1400 inhabitants of the area; the Rs. 7.51 crore Kharogala-Kuppa Flow Irrigation Scheme will benefit nine villages of the area.

The foundation stone of Sangla Taxi Stand and parking with an outlay of Rs.26.50  lakh was also inaugurated by the CM on his visit.

Singh also performed Bhumi Poojan of the Rs.2.45 crore and Rs.5 crore up-gradation of link roads from NH-5 to Nichar via Panvi  at Wangtu and  Rangle-Meeru Road
