Another agreement was signed to jointly cooperate and promote tourism in both the countries and fourth in powering up the field of broadcasting and exchange of audio-visual programmes. The fifth MoU focused mainly on the cooperation in youth development and programmes.

"We discussed how we could work together to secure our youth and society against the common challenges of terrorism, extremism, and radicalism," the Kyrgyz president said.

The final agreement emphasized on cooperation in the agriculture and food industry and its development.

India and Kyrgyzstan earlier on Tuesday also pledged to mutually work and fight against terrorism and prevent youths from falling prey to the ‘common challenges of terrorism, extremism and radicalism’.

"We agreed on the need to coordinate and work closely in addressing and overcoming these challenges for our common benefit," Atambeyev said.

Atambayev, on a four-day official visit to India, arrived here on Sunday. Upon his arrival, he was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
