J-K unrest: All-party delegation meets Mehbooba Mufti

An all-party delegation headed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here in a bid to find a solution to the ongoing violence in the Valley.

The meeting took place at the Sher-e-Kashmir convention centre on the banks of the Dal lake. The delegation is scheduled to meet the state Governor later in the day.

The delegation is on a two-day visit to review the ongoing unrest in the Kashmir Valley where violent clashes have claimed 71 lives since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani on July 8.
