Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma on Wednesday reviewed the ongoing preparation work for hosting ‘Bharat Parv’ and instructed his officials to complete all arrangements in time.
The first-of-its-kind festival starts here on Friday and culminate on August 18.
Sharma visited the venue to monitor the preparation and issued necessary instruction.

"He (Sharma) personally monitored all arrangements and instructed the staff there to timely complete all work including (those required for) safety and security of the public and tourists," an official release said.
As part of Independence Day celebrations, the Tourism Ministry is organising ‘Bharat Parv’ in the north and south lawn of Rajpath between Man Singh Road and Janpath to create festive mood and kindle patriotism among people.
