No power can take Kashmir away from India: Shah

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Sunday said that Kashmir was an integral part of India and that mo power in the world can take it away.

“Kashmir is an integral part of India, no power in the world can take it away from us,” Shah said while addressing the BJP National Council meet on its culmination day in Kozhikode, Kerala.

“We are ready to talk, but only with people who belong to India and believe in the constitution of India,” he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi too on Sunday reached out to the people of Kashmir and assured them of protection.

In his monthly radio address, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi said that the people of the valley have gradually identified the anti-national elements and wanted schools and colleges to reopen soon.

Meanwhile, on the final day of the three-day National Council meet, the BJP will adopt a resolution condemning Pakistan for the Sep 18 Uri terror attack in Kashmir that left 18 soldiers dead.
