Note ban troubles will end after 50 days as promised: PM Modi

In view of the concern expressed by President Pranab Mukherjee over disruption of the Parliament session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the government was ready for debate over demonetisation and note ban troubles will end soon.
“The government is ready for debate over demonetisation,” Modi said, addressing a farmers’ rally at Banaskantha in Gujarat today.
Attacking the opposition for disrupting the Parliament proceedings, he said that he was “not allowed” to speak in the Lok Sabha.
Modi then said that troubles the common people are facing will end soon as demonetisation is aimed at empowering the downtrodden and honest people.

Strengthening the rod of crackdown on black money, Modi said that those who have laundered and hoarded money post demonetisation will not be spared.

The nation has been going through a tough time of cash crunch since the demonetisation exercise began on November 9.
