In a move to promote tourism in the state, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation on Thursday planted several trees across the state and provided a complimentary dish to each guest.
“Celebrating its 45th Foundation Day, HPTDC hotels served a complimentary dish to the staying guests on this day and greeted them with flowers,” sources said.
“HPTDC vice-chairman Harish Janartha, managing director Dinesh Malhotra and Members of HPTDC board of directors planted trees at Shimla, Manali, Chintpurni, Barog, Dharamshala, Kullu and Narkanda to mark the occasion,” the sources said.

Employees of the corporation organised get-together at every complex to remember, honor and celebrate its achievements.
The corporation founded on September 1, 1972, acted as a catalyst, trend setter and a prime mover for the promotion of domestic and foreign tourism in the state.
HPTDC is running 60 hotels, 10 cafeterias, 2 club houses and a fleet of Volvo and Deluxe buses with total employee strength of 1507.
