Days after the Uri terror attack, the Indian Army has thwarted two fresh infiltration bids along the Line of Control in Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.
“Two fresh infiltration bids have been foiled along the LoC in Kashmir,” an army official said.
On Tuesday too, two major infiltration bids in the Uri and Naugam sectors of the state were foiled and around 10 terrorists were gunned down in a fierce gunbattle between security forces and the militants.

Meanwhile, one militant was killed on Thursday in Bandipora district of the state.
The army has been on high alert following the Uri terror attack on Sunday in which 18 soldiers were martyred after a group of four terrorists stormed the army base and opened fire.
