Almonds                    15 (soaked for 2 hours, peeled and finely chopped)

Cashew nuts            10 (finely chopped)

Raisins                       20

Cardamom  powder    ¼ tsp

Method:

Heat  vermicelli in a pan without adding ghee

Stir it occasionally on low fire till it turns golden.

Take a big pan. Put milk and roasted vermicelli in it together and switch the gas on.

Keep stirring till it boils and sim the gas.

Let the kheer boil on a low flame for 45 minutes.

Stir it after every five minutes so that it does not get stuck to the bottom of the pan.

Add sugar and keep stirring for another 15 minutes.

Add almonds, cashews, raisins and cardamom powder in it and turn off the gas.

Serve it hot and if you want to serve it cold then let it get cool on room temperature and refrigerate it.

It is very easy to make and very delicious, despite being very low in calories. Not much ingredients are needed to make it.

With the golden sunrise and sacred Eid prayers, this dish will bring your home joy and bliss. Words can be left unsaid and feelings can be left unexpressed but the love and the warmth you put in this kheer will never be forgotten.
