It is hot, sweet and delicious. Nothing can complete an enjoyable winter meal like hot Gajar ka halwa. Indulge and enjoy.

Carrot 1 kg
Milk 1 litre
Khoya 100 grams
Pure ghee ½ cup
Sugar 750 grams
Cashews 15
Almonds 15
Raisins 30
Method:
Grate carrots and khoya separately.
Chop cashews and almonds.
Take a big and deep pan and put it on high flame.
Put grated carrots and milk together in it.
Keep stirring occasionally on high flame till milk starts boiling.
Put the gas on low flame and let it keep simmering till milk gets dry. It will take around an hour. Keep stirring occasionally.
Add sugar, khoya, pure ghee and dry fruits and let it cook for another half an hour on low flame.
The halwa will start leaving the sides of the pan.
Turn off the gas and serve hot.
Suggestion: You can store it in the refrigerator for a week in an airtight container. Just warm it before each serving.
