Noting that resources was not a problem, Nadda said that there was a need to spread awareness about the matter.

“We have all the resources and the intent but the only problem is lack of awareness. Our children and mothers need to be made aware about the resources available for them,” Nadda said.

He further said that India has its own strengths and weaknesses and that the ministry was doing its best to reach out to more and more people.

WIFS ambassador Priyanka Chopra said that both her parents were doctors and for her staying healthy was very crucial.

“Health is a very important issue for me. Our next generation must be healthy for our nation to progress,” Priyanka said, encouraging adolescents to increase iron and folic acid intake in their diet.
