One of the destinations to feast in peace is The Vault Café located at Connaught Place in Central Delhi. As its name spells, the restro-bar brings back the thrill of setting foot in the secret underground vaults much like the adventure tales of ‘Harry Potter’.

The long wooden bar shines bright under the golden hanging lights. The gaping walls, lit up in red and yellow, invite you to choose from comfy sofa sets and grand arm chairs behind different doors where you steer in through vault wheels.

The menu, styled in vintage, includes food from all the continents – Italian, Continental, Mediterranean, Thai, American, Indian or street food.

The drinks menu too has umpteen options – mocktails, cocktails, alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks or even tea and coffee!

The starters, Nachos and Salsa platter coupled with Falafel wrap were crispy and the pasta was a luxurious mix of cheesy toppings and delicious flavour.

The sizzling peri peri chicken served with sweet sour sauce was spicy, while the grilled chicken was soft and juicy. The essence was just right.

Mediterranean non-vegetarian platter and The Vault Special Warning Extra Spicy Chicken Wings, dimsums, fajitas, Italian pizzas and northern Indian foodie delights are some other specials on the list.

Cool drinks complement the hearty meal. Not just the regular wineries, but the joint has its own set of exclusive drinks. The Vault Café Signatures’ is a good pick.

Vault No. 1857 is pure bliss. Cocktails like Old Fashioned, Raspberry Swizzle and Mai Tai and mocktails like Coffee Surprise, Kiwi Hour and Melon Breeze are the other top-rated ones. Vaults shots is another highlight on the drinks’ menu.

Summing up as a divine supper, the complimentary dessert is like a jewel to the crown. Chocolate Brownie and ice cream sweetens your mouth and makes your heart melt.
