Paying rich tributes to Mother Teresa, Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla has said that she was one of the greatest humanitarians of the twentieth century, an official statement said here on Wednesday.
Gracing the "Blessed Mother Teresa Canonisation Celebration" function in Kolkata as chief guest last evening, Lal Thanhawla spoke of her humility, piety, faith, her life and her unconditional love, devotion and service for the unloved, uncared and unwanted, the statement said.
He said that the Mother’s canonization was a matter of great pride not just for the Christian community, but for the entire country and also for the people of Kolkata her chosen home.
