You’ve got to read to believe what creative liberties show writers take. We watch most of these TV shows and sometimes CID seems like a much better option compared to the other daily soaps, but have you ever wondered how and when certain scenes or incidents lack common sense? Here&’s a list of things the makers of every show clearly miss. And just so you know, Sasural Simar Ka is not going to be included in this list – because it&’s beyond heaven and hell, if you get my drift.

Every now and then someone is thrown out of the house. Duh, how else would there be more drama? But what I don’t understand is why they don’t take their bags with them? Who leaves the house without an extra set of clothes? What&’s even funnier is when these poor homeless stars find a home and suddenly have new clothes and jewellery too! Then again, who sleeps with their jewellery on? No wonder men in these daily soaps fall for other women so quickly. I wouldn’t do that even if I were ugly.

Let me tell you, if it weren’t for CID and Crime Patrol, people would have literally taken the police for granted. There have been at least four crimes, a few kidnappings and a few defamation cases in Swaragini but the police ain’t bothered about it. Swara and Ragini both steal the ring from their grandmother&’s locker but the police only arrest Swara. Why? Because they are very aagyakari! The grandma asks the police to only arrest Swara. (As she claps slowly and sits in a corner crying.)

Most shows start with a good social message but somewhere along the way the writers start smoking something they clearly shouldn’t and lose the concept of the show. Balika Vadhu, Na Aana Iss Des Laado, Uttaran, Vaaris and The-Fly-That-Must-Not-Be-Named all started off on a good note but then Anandi got shot in the head and survived.

How do these people find so much time for all the drama at home? They’re always at home pretending to read and sign papers and, well, in their defence there are very few office scenes where they finalise deals or get rejected because of rivals. But most of the time these guys are just partaking in the household drama. And, surprisingly, their business is so popular that their personal lives and evil plots in the family are always covered by the media.

And all the women play hide-’n-catch the vamp in their saris or ghagras and heavy jewellery. How they manage to do it in a silent way is beyond my understanding. And why would you want to look glamorous when you’re hiding near the crime scene anyway?

So Aaliya is in love with Mihir (Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) and Adi is in love with Aaliya, so Mihir will probably get married to someone else so Adi can make a move on Aaliya. What? That&’s not it. Lakshya was engaged to Ragini (Swaragini) but Swara broke them up because he was the bad boy then but she ends up falling in love with him. But then Ragini wants to avenge Swara and breaks the Swara-Lakshya relationship. Swara then married Lakshya&’s brother Sanskar to avenge Ragini. Now, all four of them live under the same roof peacefully.

Do I need to say more?
