They are De Sicca’s Bicycle Thieves, Jean Renoir’s The River, Ingmar Bergman’s Wild Strawberries and Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. Apart from the film festivals organised by the different film societies, Kolkatans do not come across too many opportunities to watch good films. Kudos to Nandan authorities for organising the shows of these classics on screen
