A different conclave

Security is strict when the state Legislative Assembly meets. The legislators cars have stickers, while scribes seeking to cover the proceedings of the House have their special passes.  Armed with still and video cameras lensmen  lounge on the nearby lawns awaiting the arrival of the ministers to speak on topics of import.  Near the hub of activity, a different conclave is held off and on. Its members scamper to the meeting place and excitedly exchange their views on the verdant lawns of the state Assembly. Living in the premises, no guard can bar their way as at any hint of human intrusion, these fit  and furry creatures make themselves scarce. The squirrels may not make themselves understandable to those around them, but their conclave never fails to meet.
