Anti-Trump protest continues, school children join in

Hundreds of students from at least four high schools in Portland in Oregon took to the street against US President-elect Donald Trump.
The protest march on Monday, according to Portland Police Bureau, ended hours later without incident, Xinhua news agency reported.
The bureau, which posted a series of messages on its Twitter account during the protest, once called for parents to “encourage them (kids) to go back to school”.
Portland, a city in the US Pacific Northwest, has seen nightly protests since last Tuesday, when Trump was declared elected 45th President of the US.
Monday was the first time that such an event took place during day time.
No arrests were made on Monday and students were allowed to gather in front of the City Hall.
The authorities in Portland said in a statement that more than 100 protestors were arrested for violating laws.
